The Independent Investigations Group (I.I.G.) is going to invest money in tourism on the basis of Lakes of Shatsk. According to the Volhynia local press service, it was declared by Irina Gladish, the director of the investment group.
She also announced that the investment group accepts interesting proposals and suggestions from all over Ukraine. These proposals will be presented to the investors in the future.
It is reported that Ukraine has many plans and suggestions from European and American investors to develop tourism in the region of Lakes of Shatsk.
The EU sent a group of tourism experts to Ukraine, who should develop better social environment in the peninsular in the near future. The EU is going to invest €5 000 000 during the period of 2 years to achieve the positive results rather quickly. The EU is planning to sign an agreement with Ukraine to fund the infrastructure in the backward regions of the Crimea. One of these projects is connected with the tourism development in the Crimea. There is also a group of experts in Sevastopol who are trying to attract more foreign investors to cooperate further. It will help to improve the tourism standards, to get more working places and to attract tourists from various countries.
